This is again a fixed tenure investment that gives you an option to put a certain amount of money each month. Banks and post offices offer the facility of recurring deposits. With RD you have the option to invest a small amount every month and gain guaranteed returns.

Apart from this, you can also invest in a public provident fund (PPF), Employee provident fund(EPF), and national pension system(NPS).
